Although we haven’t spoken much about the new Girls series (mainly because we haven’t spoken much about anything recently), it is a welcome relief from some of the shit that is on TV at the moment. Series two started on my birthday – and for those of you who don’t know when that was, it was the 14^th January.

To celebrate the second series of the hit show, celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann has launched a limited edition Nail Lacquer Set, comprising of four shades of polish, each one based on the four characters in the show:

The collection’s tag line is: “Independent. Feminine. Playful. Sexy.” Four words that sum up the characters and feel of the show. Writer and star of the show Lena Dunham says of the collection:
