Make a new To Do list.

When I look back, I realise every man I have been with has needed to be ‘looked after’. Unfortunately I fall in to the role of ‘protector’ all to naturally. When it comes to most of my Ex’s I couldn’t care less, and when it’s over I have no interest in looking after them, making sure they are ok, or even hearing their voice. But every one has that one person who no matter what they do, you would still put your feelings to one side to help them out. My ‘one’ gets himself in situations that are so unbelievable that I can’t, well, believe him. While I keep trying to see the best in him, there comes a time when a girl needs to stop helping someone who does things that hurt her. I’m starting to think that time has come…

When I first heard Niki Minaj I was excited that there was some one to take the place of Lil’ Kim, Foxy, and all those other ladies. I was kinda pissed when she came out with that ‘Black Barbie’ stuff, as it’s been done time and time again (by Kim herself), but I decided to stop being a hater, listen to her stuff and basically, give the girl a chance. Well, I did. I’ve listened to everything she’s done (sometimes 4 times), I’ve watched most footage of her, and read pretty much every interview. After much deliberation, I have to say that I don’t like Niki Minaj. I guess, mainly I’m just disappointed. I was hoping she would push boundaries, do something new and exciting, make people stand up and listen. It seems to me she is simply doing what is expected of her, wearing ‘Lady Gaga’ like crap, and spitting in a style that is the same on every track. And can some one please tell me why she makes ‘that face’ in everything she does?! I’m still holding on to the hope that one day she will do something which will give her the right to carry the title of The Black Barbie. Until then, I’m going back to listening to Foxy B.
